Storefront Church

Lukas Frank is the songwriter, producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist behind Storefront Church. Its members include a large rotating cast similar in makeup to Broken Social Scene or Black Country New Road. Contributions have ranged from Laetitia Sadier, Phoebe Bridgers, Zachary Cole Smith (DIIV), George Clarke (Deafheaven), Circuit Des Yeux, Lauren Auder, Cassidy Turbin (Beck), Sam Wilkes, and a dozen more.

Storefront Church contributed their song “The Gift” to the Netflix Series The Queen’s Gambit, and has opened for Weyes Blood, Madison Cunningham, DIIV, Deafheaven, Laetitia Sadier and most recently Emma Ruth Rundle. The new album, Ink & Oil, features a full live orchestra on every song, and draws comparisons to Scott Walker, Nick Cave, and Brian Wilson.

J Mahon is the musical project by Berlin based Australian expat Jarrod Michael Mahon.

Having released 20 home recorded EP’s and albums in the past years as a way of marking diary entries while getting clean and sober, J finally released his first studio album in 2023. ‘Everything Has a Life’ was produced alongside Syd Kemp (Thurston Moore, Ulrika Spacek, Spiritualised). Heavily influenced by Sparklehorse and Daniel Johnston, Mahon creates pop songs wrapped up with chamber strings and guitar feedback. The live shows can span between a solo performance of just piano and vocals, to an electric guitar full of fuzzed feedback and backing track, or then up to a 7 piece live band. Either everything or nothing and all performances being just as impactful.

In 2024 Mahon released a B-Side to the debut album, toured the UK in January as his first headline tour, supported Ulrika Spacek, Tess Parks, Speedy Ortiz and Drahla throughout Germany and performed a show at London’s Rough Trade East. In the past he has performed support tours with Ariel Pink, King Krule and GUM. March 14th of 2025 marks the new chapter in Mahon's work with the release of a new single 'While You're Travelling'
