Divebar Youth

Divebar Youth is the project of genre-bending artist and producer Vinnie Barbaro, known for his versatile songwriting and prolific output, bringing a distinct darkness into the alt-pop and indie realm. Vinnie grew up with the need to adapt; the backdrop of his immigrant family's escape from poverty and their relentless pursuit of a better life instilled in him a drive to continue to progress. From an early age, music became an important outlet for him.

He has quickly established himself as a powerhouse, gaining regular placements across streaming platforms, rotation on national and international radio, and a strong and supportive fan base. Recently he added being on the cover of Spotify Fresh Finds AU & NZ to his list of achievements, which include consecutive placements on Spotify New Music Friday AU & NZ, a mentorship with Angus & Julia Stone, co-signs from Robert Smith (The Cure), placements and endorsements with Rolling Stone, Converse, JBL, Wild Turkey, TikTok and Smirnoff, as well as millions of streams. The past few months have included tours throughout Australia and Europe with headline shows and festival appearances such as SXSW Sydney on the Rolling Stone House Stage as well a BIGSOUND, the largest music industry gathering in the Southern Hemisphere.
